Interim Supply Chain Director

Our Client is a VC backed speciality pharma company who have already commercialised a number of products across Europe – with their own commercial operating subsidiaries leading the efforts in the key markets.

They have recently acquired a small European company with its own manufacturing facility and commercialised products.  This expansion, and a commitment to acquire, develop, register and commercialise other products make it an exciting time to be joining them.

The need exists for a Supply Chain Director, Interim or Permanent, to be responsible for

(i)            Optimising the supply chain (including the integration of their own and that of their recent acquisition),

(ii)          (ii) Providing project management expertise for the full range of necessary technical transfers,

(iii)         (iii) Managing the Sales & Operating planning process for the company,

(iv)         (iv) Managing all supplier interfaces and

(v)          (v) Coordinating packaging development and changes.

Some international travel (mainly Europe) will be necessary.

Candidates will have a degree in life sciences, should be experienced in pharmaceutical production or support, have proven experience in technical transfer and have a working knowledge of computerised planning systems.
