Interim Senior R & D Manager
Our client is a well-funded medical device company with some exciting technology which has already led to its lead product having entered the clinic.
With a number of other development programmes based on the same platform technology requiring leadership, the need exists for an experienced and top quality Senior R & D Manager/Engineer, who will not only move these critical programmes forward but provide significant additional strength to the overall R & D team.
This is an interim role, minimum 6 months – probably longer, and demand 4-5 days per week, some of which will need to be in Southern Ireland.
Candidates will possess a strong understanding of medical device design & development, allied to good understanding of the clinical & regulatory pathways likely to lead to device approval. Experience of implantable devices would be a real advantage.
This is a senior level appointment, so candidates are likely to be BSc / BEng / PhD calibre with minimum 8 years of relevant work experience. Such experience probably gained within a large company, but ability to put to good use in small company environment (20 employees) is critical.
