Interim Operations Director

Our Client is an innovative UK diagnostics company providing in vitro Point-of-Care (POC) testing. They have developed a diagnostic platform, a multi-assay system that uses disposable cartridges in conjunction with a small, low cost instrument.

By moving diagnostics to POC, our Client’s platform can reduce the time between obtaining a patient’s sample to treatment from up to 10 days to under 30 minutes.

The need is for an experienced Interim Operations Director who can ensure the timely delivery of development, prototype and routine cartridge and reader manufacturing. This will involve the oversight and management of a number of external manufacturing partners.

This is a highly critical and visible role, reporting the the company’s CEO. The assignment will be of 6-8 months duration, and as close to full-time as possible.

Candidates will have medical device and/or diagnostics experience and are likely to have an engineering / manufacturing background.
