Interim Head of Clinical Development
Our client is a virtual biotech company with its lead product already in the clinic. A desire to focus and to accelerate its development programme that will lead to the generation of a data package that potential pharma partners and regulatory authorities will find persuasive, has led to the need for an Interim Head of Clinical Development to make this happen.This is an assignment that is expected to be of 12- 18 months duration, and will probably demand an average of 2-3 days per week.
Candidates will need to have an impressive record within the clinical development arena, and be able to operate effectively within a small and virtual company. Experience of working in therapeutic areas of an inflammatory nature would be very useful, although not critical. The role will involve significant interaction with Regulatory Authorities
The position reports directly to the company’s CEO. Location is not critical, with much of the work to be conducted from a home base, although easy access to London is probably preferred.
