Interim Director : European Clinical Affairs (Medical Devices)
Our Client is a well-funded medical device company with its lead product already in the clinic. The company is very highly regarded and has made excellent progress to date.The need exists for an Interim Director of European Clinical Affairs – a role that has responsibility for the planning, conducting and managing of the company’s clinical activity in Europe and India. This activity encompasses initial CE clinical trials, clinical studies, and the support of key opinion leaders.
This is a role where the successful candidate will be expected to contribute strategically as well as operating at a tactical, hands-on level. Whilst based in the UK, some travel to India will be involved.
The duration of the assignment is likely to be 3-6 months, probably 4 days per week.
For the right candidate, the possibility exists for the interim role to transition into a permanent position of employment.
Candidates need to have significant experience of working in the medical device field, have excellent inter-peronal skills and require little hand-holding.
