CFO (Permanent) : Biotech / Medtech

Our Client is a well-funded and ambitious clinical stage company in the biotech / medtech field. New top management and Board leadership has seen significant progress made over the past 2 years and future expectations are high.

Product development is continuing at pace and one can expect to see the company’s activities significantly expanded to encompass product / company acquisitions.  Partnering discussions will also feature heavily over the coming 24 months, as will a further round of fundraising, most likely late 2015 / early 2016.

The need has emerged for a top quality CFO to play a vital and highly visible role in the company’s future growth and development.

Working very closely with the CEO, the successful candidate will be highly active both internally and externally.  The need is for a commercially-oriented CFO who enjoys and can point to an impressive track record in M & A  / diligence / partnering activities.

Experience of the biotech / medtech sector is important as is an ability to thrive in what is a classical SME environment.

This is a permanent position and will appeal to candidates who want to be at the very heart of an ambitious company that is moving forward quickly, yet in a focused and disciplined way.
