Associate Director, Clinical Development (Interim)
Our Client is a mid-sized pharmaceutical company with an impressive record of significant growth over a period of many years. Interea has worked with the company on a number of occasions and everyone we have placed there speaks very highly of their experience and of the way they were treated.The need exists for an Interim Associate Director, Clinical Development – an important role reporting to the Therapy Area Director.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the clinical strategy for the relevant projects and for the design, delivery and coordinated implementation of the clinical development plans.
The assignment is expected to be of 6 months duration and candidates must be able to commit to 4 or 5 days per week.
Candidates must be medically qualified with significant experience of development experience in the pharma or biotech industry. Experience of working in the GI field would be a real advantage, although not a must-have.
The role is a highly visible one within the company and exerts wide influence across the whole international organisation. Some international travel will be necessary.
